Balata @ The Fairway Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

The ambiance is great and the service good. The food wasn't bad, however, for the price that you pay for the buffet breakfast, it was way over priced. There are many other restaurants that offer breakfasts at better prices.

The meals were deliciously cooked and very appetizing. The service was out of this world too. Staff very clean and neat

I was at first very sceptical of the restaurant. Being part of a Hotel it's never really amazing. So took my mother-in-law and her friend for Sunday Buffet lunch. It's a oldies choice, buffett. I thought I'd land up having over-boiled veggies, overcooked fish and cold roast potatoes. BUT, THIS WAS THE MOST INCREDIBLE BUFFETT LUNCH I'VE EVER HAD. Thank you for changing my perception. Highly recommended. LIve music on patio. Great cocktails, fantastic options of hot and cold and the dessert were mouth watering. Don't miss this one!

The menu is about 2years old & I heard a lot of regular guests complaining and some even said they will stop coming. Bacon & mushrooms must be better cooked for breakfast. Prawns were lovely...buffet was great. Breakfast scones were dry everyday...

Our first visit. What a lovely place to spend a Saturday lunchtime. All our menu choices were good, from toasted sandwiches to a small plate of calamari and chips and also Thai green curry. We will certainly be back to this classy establishment next time we are in the area. Perfect for a relaxing break from the chaos of the city.

Glad we ate here. The food is great. Every dish was well presented and delicious.The carpaccio was very tasty and fresh.The chicken sosatie was tasty and not overcooked. It was juicy.Salads were fresh.Service was professional and friendly.Would recommend this restaurant.

I have never seen a restaurant that has never changed an a la carte menu for years. I mean its a 5 star restaurant without a doubt...very friendly staff. Food is cooked to high standard. The desserts are too cordon blue that is a weakness. The atmosphere & environment out of this world.

The Balata Restaurant is situated in the Fairway Hotel. It can accommodate 2-3 big group delegations simultaneously.The dining areas in Balata are spacious. The waiters/ waitresses are super friendly, helpful and pleasant.The meals are sumptous. I loved the smoked salmon. It was the best I gad tasted in a long time. The grilled chicken, lamb and variety of vegetables are super tasty.Do visit, to give your taste buds an adventure to remember

Good food accompanied by excellent service and good live music. Value for money. Try their Ceasers salad. Great variety, its a buffet but not food you eat every day. Presentation is good

I don’t need a lot of words for this. Best fillet, chips and pepper sauce I have had in a long long time. Enough said.
