We still got a table without bookingWalking in you are greeted by pastries laid invitingly in front of you - quiches, croissants and a cake display. Our awesome waiter, Keith was very proactive in finding us a comfortable airy table closer to the front of the restaurant as soon as people left. Great restaurant, awesome quick service and great food. I ordered a perfect egg benedict with a lovely Berry Baobab and lemongrass, coconut and ginger iced tea. My friends and I were balled over with our tasty meals. I am usually cautious when ordering red velvet cake. Sometimes it comes out bitter, with coffee and tiramisu after taste. BUT hello hello! I have just found one of the best red velvet cake spots in Pretoria. Finally! *Doing a happy food dance*A fun breakfast spot after a hot morning hike.

Our party of 4 chose their classic breakfast no 23 offering. Coffee was excellent, food attractive, perfectly prepared and the plates piping hot. Service from Terence was failtless, friendly and professional. Well worth a visit.

You can expect service at every corner . Fresh good food. Big portions and dessert options to make any sweet tooth happy. Its a vibe for the younger people. You will leave happy. They have something for everyone.

Always good to see a busy restaurant, but not too busy to get a table. Very friendly and prompt service. Contemporary and chic decor on the inside and energetic street side vibe. Breakfast burger was the bomb! Good option for a SA #HeritageDay.

Used Google to find a recommendation for breakfast and 23 on Hazelwood came up. Really great experience. Yummy eggs Benedict with coffees. Great atmosphere.

Most mornings at around 06.30 I stop in front of 23, as we call it here. The waiting staff know me by now and automatically bring me my regular fruit and veg drink and a cappuccino. Everything on the menu is good. BONUS: morning newspapers free to read and unlimited high speed Wi-Fi. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit to this establishment. We arrived at about 12:00 and the place was already full, We preferred to seat outside as the weather was cool and ambiance was also nice. Our food did not take long and we all enjoyed our individual plates. The beverage orders were also delivered in a jiffy. Though I did not order any desserts, those who did, enjoyed their treats. Their house wine was also good. All in all it was a pleasing experience

After a late night at a good friend’s 60th, I needed some sustenance. This was it: Fantastic venue, good vibe and extensive choice on the menu. My choice of steak, egg and chips came as requested - perfectly medium and tender steak with a soft egg on top. The chips were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Delicious meal!

Took my daughters for breakfast, we all had a great meal with an innovative menu. Service was fine and friendly too. Most enjoyable.

We went to 23 on Hazelwood after only half our party was able to get their desired meal at another establishment that was unprepared for loadshedding. Their entire menu was available, even though the power was off. This is a big plus in South Africa. We had the Chimichurri from the Small Plate menu. It was sublime. Their cocktails were perfect too. The atmosphere and restaurant layout is also fantastic. Service was attentive and quick.
