"If you don't eat with us today, we'll both starve" is the slogan outside this lively little restaurant overlooking the historic harbour of Simon's Town where in 1925 it was erected and used as a fish market, after a few years the fish market. After a few years the market closed down and in 1979 the premises was converted and used by a well known member of parliament as his office cum salvor and as a diving school. The present building was then re-vamped in 1998 and officially opened its doors for the fish business on 6th June 1998 by your hosts Debbie and André.

Seafood fresh from the sea, comes in many shapes and forms, from the Hake, a tasty white fish caught using deep sea trawlers off the Cape Coast, or Snoek, a local line fish, a favourite with the locals for many years due to its special flavours. All fish and Calamari is gently deep fried in a light crisp batter or grilled to perfection with a fresh fish basting sauce. The restaurant also offers combo specials where you can create a combo to your own liking. Fresh salads are readily available and for the kiddies who don’t want to eat fish, there are hot dogs and chicken nuggets as well!
There is a generous wine list, featuring some excellent wines to accompany your meal, at this fully licensed establishment.
