The Urban Bean Café situated in sunny Thibault Square is a warm and welcoming coffeehouse serving healthy food options. It is well worth a visit any time of the day and offers plenty of outside seating.

The cosy interior space has painted murals on the walls and small, intimate seating areas around little tables ideal for either one person or a small group. There’s plenty of light and the ceilings are high so it’s airy. There is a stylish coffee bar on the one side which is also used as a serving area and there is also a separate, enclosed smoking section which is incredibly popular.

The owners are hands-on, caring, warm, friendly people who run this popular eatery as a family business – with love. They personally know many of their customers and their preference in terms of meal options so this becomes an intimate dining experience.

The menu is incredibly diverse and offers a myriad of choices in all of these categories: breakfasts, baked items including croissants and pastries, ciabatta melts, urban stackers/sandwiches, tramezzinis, salads, urban burgers, pasta options, stir-fries and vegetarian options. Home cooked light lunches are available and these are suitable as take-away options. There is a full bar and on Fridays live music is on offer. The Urban Bean is not only child friendly but pet friendly too.
