The spacious new shop is adorned with Marcia and Margot's artwork. Breathtaking paintings of women in long flowing dresses fill the space on the one side of the restaurant while, in stark contrast, Margot's beautiful portraits of African women adorn the other side. Marcia's mosaic work is not to be left behind either, a metal mosaic collection frames the mirror on one of the walls. The restaurant, with its cool, dark colours, offers a retreat from the hot East London summers, while in winter months, guests can curl up on the comfortable couch sipping a cup of hot chocolate and indulging in one of the shops many delicacies.
Breakfast is a popular time at the shop with traditional gems such as the English Breakfast available as well as their famous Muffins. For something different, try the Leaves on Toast with spinach, cheese sauce, a poached egg and grilled tomato on whole-wheat toast. Roxy Burgers are served with French fries and their own BBQ sauce and comes in a variety of flavours, while you can pick and choose from their delicious selection of Wraps. For a healthier option there a couple of fresh Salads available. Don't forget to ask your waitron which of their delectable cakes are available for the day.
