Seelan Restaurant & Bar combines a variety of contemporary and European inspired dishes including all of Seelan's signature dishes. A relaxed and vibey atmosphere, perfect for lunch, after work drinks, and dinner.
Designed by Dennis Banks, the décor exudes an elegant and natural air of charm, which reflects the Harbour in front of which the restaurant is situated.
Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes and an outstanding wine menu including a Seelan’s house wine, which is made locally. A few of Seelan's Signature Dishes include the Line Fish with an Artichoke and Olive Oil Sauce, Crayfish Thermidor, the Lamb Curry served with rice and condiments and Zwelet's Duck Rice (shredded duck and Mozambique spices).
Diners can also enjoy a range of other seafood options, grills, pastas and salads. The venue is also available for functions and events.
Directions from the Cape Town Airport:
Merge onto the N2 Highway and follow the N2 signs towards Cape Town CBD. After approx 18km, move into lane with M6 / Sea Point / Waterfront sign. Turn right at the traffic light into the main entrance of the V&A Waterfront (Coen Steytler Entrance).
Directions from Camps Bay:
Exit Camps Bay on Victoria road and continue for approx 3.5kms. Turn left into Queens Road. Follow Queens Road right into Sea Point Beach Road. Continue on Sea Point Beach Road through 5 traffic lights and follow Waterfront signs. At the circle, continue straight following signs for the Waterfront. Turn left at the traffic light into Portswood Road to enter the V&A Waterfront.
