Route 57 Restaurant, Mossel Bay, is an association between international golfing star, The 2010 Open Champion, Louis Oosthuizen and well known Mossel Bay Restauranteurs Ilze Nel and Chef Anzelle Zeelie. Route 57 is a contemporary, cool, fine-dining experience in a comfortable and warm setting that will make you feel right at home.

 

Speaking of home, their menu features a few local favourites such as South African stew bredie, trio of venison and chicken a la pork which consists of chicken fillet topped with bacon, mozzarella and melted cheddar cheese. Their menu also offers a list of classical burgers: chicken, beef, steak and the king louis burger (220g beef burger topped with bacon, pineapple, melted bon blanc cheese, creamy mushroom) and seasonal salads.

Directions

From Cape Town, travel on the N2 following signs for Cape Town International Airport / Somerset West. Continue through Somerset West, Caledon, Swellendam and Albertinia. When you reach Mossel Bay, continue straight onto Louis Fourie Road (R102) and take the Marsh Street exit towards Mossel Bay. Turn right onto Marsh Street.
