Rocomama’s truly live up to their slogan “We’re not Normal” with their abnormally large burgers and milkshakes; in turn they have amassed a loyal following of foodies around South Africa. Werner Nienaber and Andrew Ransown wanted to create a fun environment and be South Africa’s number 1 gourmet burger joint!

Rocomama’s has a large following and with their massive burgers, freak milkshakes and create your own burger option, it’s not hard to see why! The interior is modern and relaxed with a colour scheme of orange, black and white. There are wooden tables and chairs with some orange ones, loud rock music and a bar with beer on tap. There are no TVs’ though as the owners would like to create an environment where people connect with one another.

Some of the favourite meals include the BCG burger as well as the chilli cheese bomb burger. Top starters include the wings, cheese bombs and turbo charged fries. For something sweet, finish off with their spectacular Freak shakes. Definitely one for the whole family!
