This classic Italian trattoria-style restaurant opened in December 2010 in the new Howard Centre, and has already become the neighbourhood's local eatery. On almost any night you will find the trattoria bustling with vibrant energy emanating from the windows and it is not long before any new comer feels part of the fa
The restaurant offers al fresco dining for lazy summer evening dining, whilst the cosy interior lends itself warm winter nights, with the help of a gas burner warding off the cold. Plenty of secure parking is available at the centre's parking area.
The menu's focus is on traditional thin-based pizzas featuring tried and tested mouthwatering toppings as well as a few inventive recipes to spice things up.
Even though pizzas are the main feature of the menu, Main Meals like the Villagio Burger with caramelised onions, rich mushroom reduction, salad greens and fresh tomato is a big hit. Panninis, fresh salads and home-made pastas also feature on this well balanced menu. A limited, but well thought through and well-priced wine list has been developed to accompany the food.
Travelling on the either from Southern or Northern Suburbs, take the Raapenberg Road turn-off. Then continue onto Forest Drive for approximately 2km then right onto Howard Drive. Howard Centre will be on the left.
