“Good Food” is our name when translated to English, and given the restaurants profuse presence one can only assume that it’s true. Papa Boa opened in September 2012 and has only grown day by day. It’s a family friendly restaurant, where kids can have fun while parents are enjoying a nice meal.
The secret has travelled all the way from Portugal so that you can have the pleasure to taste our delicious food. We focus on Portuguese specialities that bring back old memories. The “espetada” is highly recommended, followed by the “Wellington” that can surprise you or even our cod fish (bacalhau). All this after you just melt with our real Portuguese “chourico” and “bolinhos de bacalhau”. No meal is a Portuguese meal if not followed with a homemade sweet desert like egg pudding or our mostly requested “baba de camelo” .
If you need a place to bring a special one, close a deal, have a family night, a 21st or even a 50th, Papa Boa adjusts to your requests. If you are looking for Portuguese food in South Africa, Papa Boa is the right place.
