If you are looking for a market with soul and food prepared with heart and passion, look no further; Market at the Palms is the place to be. The market started in February 2012 and is situated in trendy Woodstock at Palms Décor & Lifestyle Centre.

The Palms is an architectural delight. Originally the site of one of Cape Town's first bakeries, the premises have an intriguing history. The building itself dates back to the first quarter of the last century when baker William Baumann built a factory to house two of his projects, Baumann's Biscuits and Duens Bread.

The venue features over 40 stalls, including Darling Gourmet Mushrooms, Kurt's Meat Deli, Sexy Sandwich, Stonehill Olives, Eureka Mills Bread, Classic Marmalade, Nellie's Pies, Toorkombuis and Wayland's Nguni Meats.

Indulge on a freshly brewed cup of coffee or sip on a glass of your favourite wine whilst enjoying the live entertainment provided. Whether you are in the mood for something sweet or savoury, they have delicious treats to suit any taste bud.

The market is ideal for young and old so bring along the whole family for a delicious breakfast or mouth-watering lunch.

Market at the Palms is suited for all weather conditions as there is plenty of indoor seating for the cold, winter days and outside seating on warmer summer days. Free underground parking is available and the market is open every Saturday from 09:00 – 14:00.
