Making a Difference
John Dory's
is committed to sustainable business practice through our Eco Voyage sustainability programme. In collaboration with John Dory's franchisees and partners, we are making a concerted effort to ensure our Environmental Sustainability Policy is a living reality in our restaurants.

Collaboration for Sustainability
With the help and guidance from the John Dory's Team, we also participate in water conservation, waste reduction and community projects. Our restaurants are measured on activities through our Green Operational Reports. These provide the Eco Team with data and feedback that supports further research and development in technologies, to help reduce our environmental impact. This holds true to our commitment to sustainable business practices.

Part of our commitment to this sustainability is ensuring that our communities are also taken care of. We organize beach clean-ups with our local communities to keep our beaches rubbish-free.

Our Partners
Our partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) & South African Sustainable Seafood Initiative (SASSI) is central to our commitment to managing our precious ocean resources. Through this collaboration, we have already taken major steps towards reviving the state of our fish stocks through support for sustainable fishing practice.

Sustainability in the Spotlight
“As a seafood restaurant, our business is reliant on this fragile resource, therefore we will continue to drive the strategy of procuring products that are sustainably sourced and managed," says Joe Stead, Environmental Sustainability manager, Spur Corporation.
