"Fresh at Paul Cluver finds its home on the magnificent De Rust Estate nestled in the folds of the Groenland Mountains in the Elgin Valley, amid the hustle and bustle of a busy, working farm.
The restaurant has an intimate connection with its environment and the large and abundant vegetable garden is a major source of inspiration for our food. We are passionate about working with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and the simplicity of our preparation not only allows each individual ingredient to shine but ensures beautiful “garden-freshness” on every plate.
We strive to offer a dining experience reminiscent of a meal shared in a family or close friends’ home – warm and uncomplicated, yet unforgettable. In the summer, tables are dressed under the trees on the magnificent lawns, in the winter the interior space is warmed by a roaring fire. Our large, communal tables encourage a sense of openness, sharing and relaxation.”
