EAT is a contemporary restaurant located in The Village at the gateway to the Hemel en Aarde Wine Route and the seaside town of Hermanus. Our menu is inspired by an eclectic blend of flavours and influences from around the world. Enjoy fresh linefish or a charcuterie platter cured in-house using Glen Oakes pasture reared pork in the courtyard in summer, or savour our signature smoked garlic fillet or a honey roasted pork belly next to the fire in winter.
Head Chef, Connel Massyn,
has led the talented team at EAT since November 2014, where his passion for creating simple and delicious food using fresh, locally sourced ingredients shines through in every dish he serves.
The restaurant has ample off street parking and it is easily accessible by wheelchair.
Take the N2 from Cape Town towards Hermanus. Take the R43 turnoff from the N2. Proceed along the R43 and you will find the Hemel-en-Aarde Craft Village on the corner of the R43 and R320.
