This extraordinary eatery first established their brand as a Food Truck in 2016 and after creating a dedicated following, branched out and launched their own restaurant located on Helen Joseph Road Glenwood, Durban. Luke Reddy, the hands-on owner of Craftsmen
, had a vision for his restaurant to become a popular local eatery for those who just want to kick back and enjoy the ambience coupled with great food and wonderful service. Their plans for the future include growing in the Western Cape area to bring some of their street food flare along with them.
The venue has a relaxed, trendy, funky, and comfortable and unpretentious setting with bench style seating and meals that are served on wooden boards by very helpful and attentive staff. All their food if freshly made on the day, and prepared by Hand, they see food as a Craft and it clearly shows in the presentation and taste of the delectable options on their menu.
Some of the favourites include Chicken Poppa’s (It’s a handmade chicken, chilli, coriander, lemon zesty, cheesy ball of goodness), the Hulk Smash & where’s Charlie Brown are popular mains, and for those with a sweet tooth, the Willy Wonka, which is a moist chocolate brownie with a berry coulis and vanilla ice cream, is definitely a crowd pleaser. Craftsmen
is a local brand trying to crack the market, we have a home school type of vibe where everyone is welcome.
