Nestled between the Palmiet Mountains of the Overberg region is Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate, where fine wine meets exquisite dining. This Walker Bay luxury estate in Hermanus is home to the Benguela Cove Manor Restaurant, known for the chef’s extraordinary flavour combinations.
Executive chef Annie Badenhorst finds her culinary inspiration from the Manor’s bold architecture, artistic design and various art pieces adorning the restaurant. With Arabian chandeliers swaying from the ceiling, diners can delight in a fresh ocean breeze from the patio and the stunning views of the Bot River Lagoon.
The cuisine is deliciously prepared from fresh, local produce to create French and English inspired menus. An a la carte or chef’s tasting menu is expertly paired with complimentary Benguela Cove estate wines for guests to enjoy while dining.
Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate is also open for vineyard tours, wine tastings on the lagoon, live music on Sundays and wine tastings and pairings at the Tasting Room.
From Cape Town head southeast on the N2 towards Hermanus. Take a slight left and continue onto R43. Turn right and Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate will be on your left.
