For wonderful food in a beautiful lakeside setting - whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner- Benguela Brasserie & Restaurant is the perfect choice. Located at the five-star Lakeside Lodge & Spa, near Sedgefield, the venue has a growing reputation as one of the leading Garden Route restaurants, popular for its imaginative and varied menu. There are also wine tastings, food pairings and other special events throughout the year.
Relaxed lakeside dining for breakfast and lunch moves in the evening to a sophisticated and romantic mood, with a relaxed menu, and the healthy signature dishes from our executive chef Kelly-Anne Pietersen. There is an excellent range of South African wines including from the owners’ award-winning Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate.
Benguela Brasserie & Restaurant is owned and operated by Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate situated in Walker Bay, Hermanus. The setting of the brasserie reminded the owners of all the things that they love about Benguela Cove. The same amazing views, a waterside location all set within the lovely Lakeside Lodge.
