Karen Ackerman opened A Taste of Grace in April 1977, and located in the bustling Wellington Road, Durbanville, it has proved to be a long term success. Their vision for A Taste of Grace was to be Durbanville’s favourite home-style bakery and meals-on-the-go outlet, and they have certainly obtained that with so many loyal customers. Everything at this eatery is made on site including their delicious breads.

The Interior has a blue based colours, vintage décor items and cakes on display. The interior can be best described as a Country style interior, with lace table cloths, Royal Albert tea sets, flowers and cloth napkins. The venue is perfect for High Teas’ birthdays, baby showers and small and intimate events.

Popular items on the menu include the quiches which come in butternut, feta, spinach and baby marrow. Another crowd favourite is definitely their creamy, chunky chicken pie, so if you are looking for some homemade food in a comfortable setting look no further than A Taste of Grace.
