“Yummy Secret”
Tucked away on the balcony overlooking the parking, above Pick n Pay and the fast food. Good Italian food, good portions, good straightforward service.Blinds available for rain, wind and weather.Even our little dog was treated like royalty. Many visits, never disappointed.Usually enough to take half the portion home in a doggy bag.

“Like a Quinton Tarantino movie”
Seems we certainly had a really bad run this month. So we decided to pop over to a decent restaurant in our neighbourhood for a quick pizza and pasta. During our menu selection, I had to get up and request a group of men to please mind their language as we had small kids with us and I saw a few couples seated next to the table consisting of approx 8 men, most of whom were highly intoxicated and using the foulest language with not a shred of consideration for any patron in the restaurant. My request lasted all of 10 minutes, tops. We decided to try and ignore this bunch and tried making this a lesson about common decency and consideration, but I suspect our kids saw through this ruse. Anyway, it would appear that maybe the staff at this establishment may have been thoroughly rattled by the presence of this band of "merry" men because they could not get my drink order right. I mean, how difficult is it to get an passion fruit and soda-water drink wrong? Then both my wife and I opted for the Cajun style calamari, but instead we were presented with a chicken dish. The waitress seemed very annoyed that we did not want to settle for the chicken instead, so much so, that I had a total loss of appetite and decided it would be far less onerous to have a slice or two from my son's pizza. I know we all make mistakes and for me, the way people handle their mistakes is normally the telling factor. In this instance the manager mumbled a well rehearsed line to the tune of "....we profusely apologise for any inconvenience caused...." and simply threw his hands into the air to demonstrate how powerless he was to ensure decent service as well as containing an incredibly uncomfortable situation with severely drunk people causing a ruckus in his restaurant at the expense of other patrons. On the plus side, the food was good (well from my side the slice of pizza and the one calamari tube I had).

“Local Italian Restaurant”
A nice little Italian restaurant in Kyalami. The pizza menu is very good and the pizza delicious. The pasta menu is interesting but my pasta was a bit flavourless. The seating area is a bit worn and old but quaint. The outside seating is good but people smoke in the outside area.
