Value for Money
This restaurant is seriously hidden in the depths of Nicolway... it's located in the back of one of the parking levels. Despite being buried in the basement, the restaurant is quite fancy and nicely done up. The waiters are all very friendly and professional.
The food was good. Not great, especially for the price you pay. I ordered a chicken korma which had a nice flavour but I've had better. My friend ordered the murgh bhoona which was a tomato based curry, and while I enjoyed the spicyness and flavours it lacked any sort of wow factor. For R114 per dish, I expected a lot more. The portion size looks small but it actually fills you up. But that still doesn't justify the price. On top of that, you have to order your sides separately, so you have to pay another R20 to R30 for something that should come standard with a curry dish. We ordered a garlic naan to share, which wasn't bad but I found it a bit hard and chewy.
