The Godfather

Had the most wonderful experience at the new (old) Godfather restaurant in Midstream. Old, because they have been around the block having had the original Godfather restaurant in Centurion for many years. Lovely new restaurant that ticks all the boxes. Most importantly, the most fabulous aged steak cooked perfectly. Absolute melt in the mouth perfection, served by an attentive and well trained waiter (a young man called Michael who has a bright future in hospitality).. and I’m not even being paid for this review! Well done Godfather... love your work.

This was the First time I visited after they opened in Midstream.I was a huge fan of the Previous Location.Saying that, I am an even bigger fan of the New Location.The Food, Service and Vibe was amazing.Our Waiter was very friendly and helpful.It was great to see some familiar faces like Marcus and the Owners.They all stopped by and we had a great chat. Thank you for keeping the Homey Intimate feel.Thank you for going the Extra Mile with the Limited Menu in this time ??????I promise I will be back more often

We frequented this restaurant in their previous location and never had a bad meal. However, on our first visit at their new location everything fell apart. The starters of snails and chicken livers were fine (perhaps a bit heavy on the cheese) and the steaks were good. On the down side the lamb ribs bore no resemblance to mutton or lamb (actually more like pork) and the basting sauces are a little overpowering. The first round of coffee was ice cold. On the positive side they made every effort to rectify things and the service was great. It will not stop us from coming back but the stars were not aligned for them on this occasion.

Will recommend this family owned restaurant for any occasion. We visit it on a regular basis and the service is always consistent, with excellent food always prepared well. The restaurant is all over clean and always tidy no matter how busy they are. Prices is also reasonable and good value for money.

We went with my family for a dinner to celebrate a birthday tonight, we all had steaks, which were fabulous, done to perfection, and really tasty ! The waitress Tayla was on the ball, polite friendly and service great, the venue was a bit warm, did cool down a bit when we asked for windows to be opened ! Will be Back again !

I ate @ this restaurant for the first time since they moved premises last year, and was pleasantly surprised by the new setting @ atmosphere. the food was good and the service excellent

Situated in the safe and secure Midstream Estate, Godfather is the place to go for the best steak in Centurion. Made to perfection!

Restaurant has moved to Midstream but is worth the commute from old location. Nice staff, great value, plenty of menu options and top steaks.

The initial touch point with the Gofather was fantastic. The person who took the call asked the right questions, even down to was it a special occasion, it was our wedding anniversary. Whilst the waiter was friendly, we on three separate occasions had to ask another waiter to find ours. He was always charming once he appeared but it really put a damper on a special evening and it being doubtful I will return
