One of the quirkiest bars I've ever visited in Cape Town! The barmen are friendly and serious about their cocktails. The dimmed lighting and couches inside also set a very mysterious yet welcoming atmosphere. I never knew it was possible or even appropriate to serve drinks in plastic bags... but Orphanage proves that it is and it works! The Swim and Tonic is my absolute favourite! It's a gin and tonic in a fish-bowl inspired plastic bag! And it is well worth the price because this drink seems bottomless and goes on forever!

The wide selection of cocktails make it difficult to choose but I've tried a few different ones and they are all fantastic! And they are made with love and an undeniable unique twist!
Such a great place with an awesome vibe. Can't wait to go back!

I've been wanting to try drinks at Orphanage for a while and we finally got a chance to when we were in CT. Firstly the place is quite stunning and kitsch, and the waiters are really awesome and friendly.

I ordered the "More Tea, Vicar" cocktail and the presentation was adorable. The drink came in an ornate little tea cup. The actual cocktail was fantastic, not too sweet and not too bitter. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would have enjoyed a few more if we didn't have to rush to meet friends. The food also sounded really good and I'll definitely go back to sample some at some point.

The coolest bar on Bree Street. Definitely one for the hip crowd. DJs are awesome on a Friday and Saturday playing good house music tunes and the cocktails are amazingly different but fantastic. The Gin and Swim is my favourite by far.

Great setup, quirky decor and amazing cocktails. I tried the 'call the vicor' and I wasn't disappointed. Amazing!
