Chef's Profile
Chef Archie Maclean born in Scotland moved to South Africa in 2007 after spending 2 years in New Zealand and Australia.Chef Archie worked in the world-renowned restaurant “The Tasting Room” at Le Quartier Francais before moving to the Kruger National Park to head up the kitchens at Singita’s Kruger park 5 star lodges Lebombo and Sweni.

After 3 years in the Kruger he headed back to Cape Town to take the position of Head Chef and Restaurant Manager at Catharinas restaurant on the Steenberg Estate in Constantia. In 2019 he moved back to Franschhoek to open his own restaurant with his wife and is currently the Head Chef and Owner of Entrée Restaurant.
