Balducci’s at the V&A Waterfront offers an unrivalled menu of simple, everyday Italian dishes that reflect the most traditional elements of food and culinary styles. Our Italian Chic menu offers food that is relaxed and restorative, while at the same time being creative, modern and affordable.
Balducci’s has a simple philosophy: to provide a memorable experience by redefining the essence of good, real food and upping the standards, with its clean understated formality, crisp white linen, racks of sparkling wine glasses, beautiful views and gracious service.
The emphasis is on providing good quality food that is simple, fresh, filled with passion and served in style, including the delicious onion zuppa garnished with an African macadamia nut pesto, carpaccio of venison, or the Melanzane alla Parmigiano, amongst other things. A luscious line up of pizzas includes specialities like the white pizza with mozzarella, goat’s chevin cheese, smoked kwaito (Gouda), Parmigiano with sautéed spinach and garlic on a béchamel sauce, or try the Osso Buco or the Parma Ham.

Or you can opt for that all-time comfort food – the classic burger, which Balducci’s has rebuilt into a culinary delight. The award winning 180g pure aged Karan beef sirloin and rump gourmet burgers are served on a dense, lightly toasted fresh bun with caramelised onion, home made deli pickled cucumber, coleslaw, thick cut fries and a secret relish.

You'll find Balducci's in Victoria Wharf, the shopping centre at Quay 5 in the V & A Waterfront. From Muizenberg follow the M3 freeway and Eastern Boulevard into town. Exit Eastern Boulevard into Buitengracht Street and take the first right turn into the Waterfront entrance. Follow Port Road around the circle and into the heart of the Waterfront.
