Picture Frangipani's in Woodstock, Southern Suburbs (CPT), Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa Frangipani's has been an institution in Roodebloem Road, Woodstock, for years and now with their newly renovated premises, new owners Sandy and Paul, are ready to take the city with a bang. Sandy is the hand behind the scene, while Paul manages the restaurant from day to day. The new restaurant opened in January 2011 with a brand new fresh look that is still growing and maturing with time.
Picture Frangipani's in Woodstock, Southern Suburbs (CPT), Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa Sandy wanted the same peaceful and homely feeling of his house reflecting in the restaurant, a difficult brief to follow as the restaurant needs to have seating and function. But he kept true to the colour and décor and created a home away from home. A striking feature is the new balcony, especially on balmy summer days, while the awnings (to come soon) will secure extra shelter on cold winter days.

Lunch time offers a buffet of Lasagne, Pastas, Roasts and Curries. The offering changing regularly as the restaurant evolves. This emphasises the homely feeling they wished to create with fresh home-made food.

Frangipani's is available for Christmas functions, weekday lunches ( small seating parties ), weekday evenings, Saturday nights up to 50 people and Sundays as well.

Driving on the N2 towards Cape Town City, take the Roodebloem / Woodstock turnoff and turn right into Roodebloem, follow the road underneath the bridge and then turn left as the road curves still into Roodebloem. Frangipani's is on your left on the corner of Balfour.

From N1:
Driving on the N1 towards Cape Town City, take the Church Street / Woodstock turnoff and turn left onto Lower Church Street. Continue untill you reach the t-junction with Victoria Road (Main Road) and turn left, continue down the road untill you reach the traffic light with Roodebloem, turn right into Roodebloem Road and continue up to the restaurant on your right.
