The Office is the ultimate hip and trendy after-work venue, where Joburg’s cool congregate to enjoy delicious food, lip-smacking cocktails and funky tunes. The seasonal menu offers a fantastic range of modern South African tapas, including a wickedly spicy Thai red curry, Vietnamese fish cakes, mini tuna burgers, and pan roasted Portobellini mushrooms with sherry vinegar and Manchego cheese. Desserts like the baked hot chocolate pudding are also mouth-watering, and as the kitchen’s open until 11pm, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a late night snack with a cocktail or coffee.

The Office décor is reminiscent of a New York styled lounge with slick lines and fresh design. There are white leather booths, custom made bar stools and wooden tables all designed to give the venue an 'Office-like' feel. The walls are adorned with old Office memorabilia including vintage typewriters, telephones and slide-projectors. Massive angled bronze mirrors give the Office an extra dimension and compliment the wooden wall panelling that runs down the length of the shop.

The lighting gives a very relaxed feel and includes a massive 6 metre long chandelier amongst other custom-made lamps. All-in-all a very unique design that is appealing on the eye and compliments the food and cocktails beautifully.

Driving on the M1 towards Sunnyside, take the Empire Road / Barry Hertzog (M17) turnoff towards Sunnyside. Continue with Barry Hertzog untill you reach the crossing with Gleneagles Road. Turn right into Gleneagles Road and you will find us on your right handside
