Café Chic is treated to a taste of Europe with the opening of Café Chic, in November 2009 by Morae Campher and Francoise Queyroix – a jewel box of culinary delight. This “one stop” concept compromises of two gastro-bistro Restaurants, Whiskey Bar, Cocktail Lounge, Moroccan Tent and exclusive Boutique.
After two years of renovations, the Victorian heritage house in Gardens, Cape Town opened its doors to an elegant setting with each room designed to express a different feel and mood including dinner and dancing on selected evenings. The menu offers French cuisine with a South African twist.

The Whiskey Bar offers forty-seven whiskies to be savoured in a relaxing Hemingway inspired interior. Twenty-one private boxes are available to store personal bottles of whisky and cognac.
The Cocktail Lounge and Bar is a sexy, seductive setting perfect for socialites to enjoy one of Café Chic’s signature and champagne cocktails mixed by the expert bartenders.

The Moroccan Tent is a unique venue to be enjoyed with a more intimate group of friends. Cocktails and Tapas are served late into the night whilst guests laze back on lush velvet couches. The whole venue or any of the rooms can be hired out for private functions including the Cocktail Lounge which can be converted into a dancefloor.
The Boutique offers an exclusive selection of men and women’s clothing as well as a selection of jewelry imported from France and Italy.
Café Chic is open for Lunch and Dinner from Tuesday until Saturday.
