Butcher Boys an elegant upmarket steak restaurant opened its doors in Morningside, Durban in November 1999. Popular from the outset, we agreed to a franchise and in October 2001 another branch opened their doors and in July 2003 Butcher Boys proudly opened our Umhlanga store in a newly revamped mall. Now Butcher Boys Hillcrest has opened in Heritage Market and as they say "the proof of the pudding is in the eating".

These sanctuaries for meat lovers serve the best grain fed beef South Africa has to offer and our wet & dry ageing process results in exceptional quality and texture. Our in house butcheries will cut to your preference whether it be lean or with a little fat or of a particular weight or thickness. Our butcheries will also supply our super aged beef vacuum packed to take home. Non-carnivores are not neglected and we have a fine selection of line fish, prawns, calamari and chicken dishes.

Our unique temperature controlled wine cellars proudly house a diverse selection of indigenous vintage estate wines from the fairest Cape and surrounds.
Our décor is subtle yet effective, our dining areas warm and inviting and complimented by well appointed patios. (optional smoking areas) The ambience of our restaurants is enhanced by our dedicated staff that together with management continually strives to offer their guests "simply the best".
