We have two entrances, the main one being at 101 Hout Street. Hout Street is one way, running from Bree Street to Buitengracht.
The Second access point to the restaurant is via Heritage Square. The main entrance to the square is in Shortmarket Street, while a second access point is on Bree Street. The advantage of this entrance is it gives you direct access from the Riebeeck Square Car Park. Follow the signs through the passages and courtyards!
From Sea Point Follow Somerset Road into Strand Street. Cross Buitengracht, and take the next right at Bree. Hout Street is the second intersection. At the traffic light turn right.
From Southern Suburbs M3, Eastern Boulevard, Strand Street. Left into Bree. Hout Street is the second intersection. At the traffic light turn right.
From Camps Bay Come down Bree Street. Pass Riebeeck Square and turn left at the traffic light into Hout. If you are on Buitengracht you need to go around the block at Shortmarket because Hout Street is one way.
Daytime Parking There is limited day time parking in Hout Street itself. Chris Barnard Hospital Parking Garage in Bree, or the Riebeeck Square parking in Shortmarket are alternatives. For lunch time parking, the centre of Buitengracht and the parking in Riebeeck Square are usually available to our customers. Ask the manager on duty for a voucher and you will receive two hours of free parking.
Night Time Parking From 5pm there is a Security Guard posted in Hout Street and he patrols this section of road, and our private enclosed parking area. This opens at 5pm and is opposite our Hout Street entrance. It is for the exclusive use of our customers and is locked when the last table leaves. Cars cannot be left overnight.
