Kafe Serefé (meaning Cheers! or Good Health!) was established in 2004 and is situated at 60 Courtenay Street, George. Although touches of Turkish traditions are evident the food served is mostly South African in taste and flavour. The menu includes delicious South African Steak, Lamb and Pork dishes as well as traditional Turkish cuisine. All meat served at Kafe Serefé carry the Van Rensburgs Foods “approved, safe meat” logo. The desserts are decadent, not to mention the coffee!

Belly Dancing on Wednesday- and Friday evenings, together with Turkish welcoming gestures and the cozy, relaxing atmosphere all add to the ambience of Kafe Serefé.
Both the menu and wine list offer great variety and value for money Kafe Serefé has a fully equipped smokers room with cigar menu and hubbly bubbly pipes.
