The thing about 34 South in Knysna is - it’s difficult to define. Walk in try to combobulate yourself... it’s not easy.
Where to first? The deli? The wine shop, gift shop, bakery, clothes rails, fish shop or sushi bar?

Personally, I like to come in and check out the crowd. Then I pick up the newspapers and sit and go through the headlines before I look up and look around. And then it strikes me: who needs the papers? Here’s life. So I place my order, sip on my drink and just enjoy.
After I’ve eaten, maybe I’ll go and choose something to take home for this evening. Then back to my table for a powerful espresso, Illy style.

... ‘Course that’s how I do it at breakfast or lunch. At dinner, when the tables are spread and the oil lamps glow, then I like to bring my date, arrive with a bit of a flourish and show off a little. See? They know me here.
That’s when I get what they mean by “Attitude At Our Latitude.”
