Cedar Square not only boasts a fine selection of shops, but with the opening of Central Grill can lay claim to having one of the most opulent restaurants in the northern suburbs right on its own doorstep. Central Grill is a symphony of glass, wood, and marble, skilfully combined with luxurious upholstery, plush carpeting and soft floor to ceiling drapes. Colour has been put to good use in the dining area where a combination of colours have been used for the upholstery, creating interest to the eye, and providing a perfect contrast for the white napery.

The focal point of the restaurant is without doubt the imposing glass walkway down the centre, which separates the dining area from the bar area, yet ensures that the whole interior remains light and visible from all sides. Central Grill is a large restaurant by any standards and with seating for 190 inside and 140 outside is an excellent venue for those wishing to host a private function in impressive surrounds. With it seamless indoor/outdoor flow and enormous granite topped bar, Central Grill has all the prerequisites to cope with cocktail parties for up to 650 guests. In addition there is also a private upstairs dining area (with its own bar and lounge), which can comfortably accommodate 40 guests. This private area also has full audio visual facilities, to ensure corporate clients have everything at hand both for presentations and entertaining clients.

Fine dining is indeed what you will get at Central Grill, along with impeccable service, and a trendy clientele. The unusual concertina style menu cum wine list offers a fine selection of international cuisine along with a full sushi bar. Starter recommendations are the plump succulent mussels, the delectable duck quiche, or the tiger prawn salad. As the name of the restaurant implies, much of the focus is on grills with all the steaks coming highly recommended. Fish lovers will relish the pan-fried salmon. To compliment your meal, the wine list offers both local and imported wines and champagnes and there is a substantial cocktail menu too.
