With a string of previous successes under their belt (the Clay Oven, George’s, Athena’s and Pimento’s), George and Athena and their gastronome business partners, are wowing the Big Bay residents with their latest venture Alexia’s. Prominently located along Otto du Plessis Drive in the Seaside Village centre, Alexia’s has glorious views of Table Bay which make dining in this delightful restaurant all the more enjoyable. There is a bar area, as well as outside seating for those tranquil summer days. Alexia's is now a non-smoking venue.

The décor is chic yet comfortable, with stylish table overlays and an open plan kitchen which is framed with a colourful display of bottled and tinned ingredients. The service is friendly and efficient and with George and Simo in the kitchen you can rest assured that the best Mediterranean dishes have been prepared with passion and pride. Devoted supporters and regular clients will feel right at home, with all their favorite items on the menu as well as some wonderful new dishes.

Whilst the menu focus on Mediterranen cuisine it also offers Asian, Middle Eastern and Continental dishes to tempt the palate and satisfy the most discerning diners. For starters we recommend the Meze platter which offers traditional favourites including the popular dolmades, spanakopita, cheeses, a selection of fish, meatballs, olives and taramasalata and tzatziki dips. Main course recommendations are the Lamb Shanks (full of flavour and supremely tender) or the pan-fried pepper steak. For the more adventurous why not try the tripe and onions. To compliment your meal choose from the extensive wine list which also offers traditional Greek wines.

From Cape Town, travel along the Marine Drive (R27), and then turn left into Otto Du Plessis Drive (M14). Continue along Otto Du Plessis until you reach the second traffic circle, where Seaside Village should be on your right, on the corner of Otto Du Plessis & Cormorant Road.
