"Come, Love, Fish"! Three meanings of the Japanese word "KOI"
The name says it all... but not quite. Not only is it the fresh "fish" and salmon flown in daily from Cape Town, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Scotland that you will "love", but the original style of cuisine and décor that will overwhelm the senses.
"Come" and be tempted by the strangely deliciously dishes, created by renowned Japanese chef Miya Moto. He suggests it's better not to try and classify "Koi" cuisine, because of its originality, he states it rather as traditional than fusion, all oriental with a touch of French/Occidental.
Miya has built a name for producing some of the best sushi chefs in the country, some of which will show you a thing or two behind our sushi bar! Then there is a Chinese chef Liu, who makes noodles in tune to the soft, lounge music playing in a seemingly easy, oriental dance. One of Miya's favourite past times is devising delectable desserts, an absolute treat for the palate and the perfect ending to a simply perfect experience.
