Leon and Sia Evlambiou opened Leesia’s Greek Taverna in 1993. To
celebrate their 16th birthday Leesia’s has recently revamped with
beautiful new murals.
Leesia’s offers a large variety of, a la carte dishes, one being their Meze
Platter a starter for the table consisting of a selection of Greek starters.
The Kleftiko Arni, the traditional “Stolen Lamb” served on the bone and cooked to perfection. New on the menu is oven baked “Spit Roast Lamb”
a platter for 2 or 3 but please enquire first when booking. For dessert, a Popular choice is Sia’s Homemade Baklava, layers of phyllo pastry and nuts
with homemade syrup, and to finish off your meal, there is nothing better than a glass of Ouzo (Greek water) with a Greek coffee. A comprehensive
wine list is also available to complement every meal.

Leesia’s is also the ideal venue to celebrate birthday, anniversaries and office functions. It is one of the few restaurants in Cape Town that offers Dinner Dance on most weekends and sometimes during the week. Patrons are invited to start the dancing by joining the friendly staff on the dance floor for some festive Greek dancing and plate breaking “OPA”. The dancing takes place later in the evening allowing all patrons to enjoy their meal in a relaxed atmosphere to background music.

In taking care to preserve the authenticity of a Greek culinary experience, all food is prepared and served the way it would be in a Greek home. It can also be noted that for parties of 15 or more, there are a variety of buffet and set menus from which to choose.
Leon and Sia invite you to join them for a night of decadent food and dance, done the traditional Greek way “OPA”. If you can’t get to Greece come to
Leesia’s.
