On the 1st November Barristers will celebrate its birthday! Peter Gordon founded Barristers in November 1980 and it has grown from an 80-seater to a 150-seater restaurant, comprising of the Grill Room, the Café and the Fountain Courtyard.

Barristers was taken over by Lance and Diane Chandler in March 2008
and they have committed to the Barristers brand and traditions.

The European styled Café Bar and Coffee Shop lends its own distinctive charm. The romantics will be delighted with the quaint al fresco Fountain Courtyard that provides the ideal setting for a healthy breakfast, Mediterranean lunch or an intimate dinner.
The Grill Room has an array of mouthwatering steaks and meat dishes (for which Barristers is famous), fabulous fresh fish dishes, Mediterranean, Continental and vegetarian dishes are also part of the appetizing mix. In addition a variety of light meals including delicious salads and mouthwatering sandwiches are on tap.

Barristers can be found on the right hand corner. From Cape Town follow the Main Road to Claremont and turn right into Protea, and right into Kildare.
