Offering a fine dining experience in every respect, the restaurant takes its name from the French word Mange Tout, meaning ‘small peas eaten in a pod’ or, when directly translated ‘to eat everything’. The restaurant has a distinctly Provencal feel that is enhanced by an elegant, contemporary design. Complete with wrap-around views, and overlooking the glorious Franschhoek valley and magnificent estate, cuisine can be enjoyed indoors or on the spacious terrace.

The restaurant is firmly established among the Cape’s leading dining venues, and offers a beautifully presented menu featuring classic International cuisine, which, with a uniquely South African flavour, has been transformed into exciting culinary creations.
Dishes on the a la Carte menu change regularly, and a 3-, 4-, or 5-course menu is offered, complemented by a selection of quality wines, perfectly matched to complement the Chef’s vibrant cuisine. These include a selection of award-winning Mont Rochelle vintages produced on the farm. Imbued by the soothing tinkling of accomplished pianist Alfio Sartirana’s repertoire of contemporary songs complemented by jazz standards and popular classics, guests dining here look forward to the delightful splashes of texture, taste and colour that epitomize each culinary creation.

You will find choices such as Foie Gras Parfait with dark Chocolate Brioche and Peach, or Walvisbaai Red Crab Tortellini, Wild Fennel, Lime and Vanilla Buerre Blanc, not to mention ending the evening with a Tiramisu, Mascarpone Mousse, Coffee and Savoiardi Biscuit Ice Cream.

Follow the signs out of Cape Town to the N1. Follow the N1 towards Paarl/Franschhoek. Take exit 47 (sign posted as turn-off Klapmuts/Stellenbosch/Wellington). Turn right onto the R44 (pass Butterfly World on the left), go across the four way stop. Turn left onto the R45 (sign posted Franschhoek), until you get to a T-junction (still R45). Turn right onto the R45 (via Simondium) towards Franschhoek. Drive into Franschhoek Main Street (called Huguenot street). Take the first right turn, into Cabriere street. Follow the road around the bend, continue along Cabriere street. Continue over 2 stop streets. At the 3rd stop street the road forks, follow the right hand fork to the next stop sign. Turn right at the stop, now you are leaving the village. Continue with this road over a bridge till you get to Mont Rochelle security gate. From here follow the road up the hill, turn left at the blue Mont Rochelle board, till you get to the hotel.
