To all our loyal customers and food lovers everywhere….. we take great pleasure in letting you know that “live love & eat” has changed it’s name to “loveata”. You will be pleasantly surprised at our fresh new look and our Chef has also added his special touch to enhance our existing Menus. Those of you who know Aki, Shawn and the Team well, will also know their high standards when it comes to quality of food and service and the good news is that this will only get better. Food is our passion and we invite you to experience Fusion food at its best!
Still tucked away in a leafy part of Senderwood, just off the “main road” that runs through this Johannesburg suburb, loveata’s ambience and views lets you escape and “feed the senses”. Wooden floors, chocolate walls and beach white tables and chairs give this Bistro a clean, classic look.

We cater for all your special occasions such as intimate wedding receptions, birthday parties, christenings and corporate functions. We can provide seating for up to a hundred people comfortably and can cater for all your requirements providing a la carte as well as set menus. Book your business breakfasts, luncheons at loveata……we’re also the perfect after work cocktail venue to impress that overseas colleague or guest.
Lunch choices are made easy with a great selection of sandwiches and salads like the Wholegrain Mustard Mayo Fillet served with caramelised onions, rocket and sliced tomatoes or the Chicken Caesar with grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, egg, bacon, garlic croutons and parmesan shavings .
Our Starters offer gems like the Duck and Haloumi Springrolls with a raspberry and cumin dipping sauce or Salt and Pepper Squid with Japanese yum yum and lime. Mains is a grand affair with a variety of dishes to choose from, there is something for everyone. Fish lovers can choose between Deep-Fried Beer Battered Hake or Flame Grilled Salmon with zucchini fritters, lemon and white bean purée and a basil hollandaise.

Loveata’s extensive Sushi Menu caters for appetizing entrées or for Mains, one can select from our wide selection of Platters, created by our resident Sushi Chef.
All the chicken dishes, ranging from Chicken Breast stuffed with spinach, ricotta, Kalahari truffles, Hanepoort raisins and parmesan to Chicken Pesto Rigatoni, are strictly free range. Meat lovers can dig into a Slow Roasted Lamb Shank with rosemary, red wine and spinach or the hearty Beef Fillet Chops with garlic and sage. Vegetarians are well catered for with Tofu and Rice Noodle Stir-Fry or Stuffed Roast Tomato with red kidney bean and barley risotto.
For a perfect ending to your meal, our Lindt Chocolate Bon Bons are to die for, enjoy them with a crème anglaise. For something lighter, try the Raspberry Panna Cotta.
