Head Chef Jacques Van Der Merwe focuses on pushing boundaries, while keeping some resemblance of classic styled dishes. A perfect meal at LBV may look like something like this: a starter of slow roasted pork bell served with an apple puree and caramelized apples, followed by home-made and hand-rolled tagliatelle topped with beef fillet strips, mushroom, parmesan, garlic and truffle white wine sauce. A dessert of red wine poached pears served with a home-made almond ice cream and butter crumble would round of this decadent feast.
