Picture Indian Summer in Glenashley, Northern Suburbs (DBN), Durban and Surrounds, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa Indian Summer is an authentic Indian Restaurant based in Newport Avenue in the family suburb of Glenashley, Durban North. The vision of the owner, Anand Pancholy, was to create a fusion of homecooked traditional Indian food with the look and taste of an elegant restaurant.

Indian Summer began in a smaller venue in Sunninghill but soon felt the need to expand and find new premises. The new venue is spacious and bright, with shades of purple dominating the colour scheme and photos of traditional dancers posing along the main wall.

The Menu offers a variety of dishes to choose from, all at affordable prices. Durban is famous for Bunny Chows, a hollowed-out half loaf of bread filled with vegetable or meat curry, so its apt that this is one of the first things on the menu at Indian Summer.
