The Green Vine Eatery is the on-site restaurant at the gorgeous Silvermist Organic Wine Estate. The estate is located at the top of the Constantia Valley and falls within the Table Mountain National Park, boasting a wide range of natural fynbos and forests. The resident restaurant adds a modern, contemporary feel to the old and beautiful scenic attraction which is the farm itself.
The cuisine at Green Vine Eatery focuses on fantastic yet simple fresh dishes that are both familiar and tasty. Favoured menu items include eggs benedict and charcuterie boards with fresh bread, cheese and olives. It also specialised in divine pastries and sweet desserts. Naturally, the wines which accompany these meals are a start attraction. The flavour of the wine is influenced by ocean breezes during summer that ensure a slow ripening of the grapes.
The views from Silvermist are reason enough to visit the restaurant. Overlooking the Longkloof Nature Reserve and the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range to the North and to the East of the Constantia Valley and False Bay with the Hottentots Holland Mountains in the distance – it is breath-taking to behold. Enjoy the views while taking your meal either outdoors or indoors with a cosy fireplace when the weather turns chilly.
