Picture Dale's Black Angus in Milnerton, Blaauwberg, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa Welcome to Dale’s Black Angus Grill, the premier steakhouse in Cape Town. Initiated by Dale Schreuder, legendary restaurateur and acclaimed owner and operator of the Black Angus Steakhouses in Johannesburg, Capetonians can now also enjoy the legendary beef of the Black Angus breed.

Dale’s Black Angus Grill has a varied menu catering for all tastes, with the emphasis on the finest quality steaks in Cape Town. The focus is on quality, value and service.

Dale’s Black Angus Grill is a large venue accommodating 90 diners in large dining room, 30 in the large bar area and an extra 100 guest on the outside terrace, where a great el fresco experience is to be had. It also has facilities upstairs for an 80 guest function as well as a private boardroom or dining area.

Over a number of decades, Dale Schreuder has become an icon in the restaurant industry and in this time, he has been the operator of a wide variety of very successful eateries.
Picture Dale's Black Angus in Milnerton, Blaauwberg, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa The original Dale’s Place started in Johannesburg in 1980. After moving to Cape Town he reopened it in Table View in 1990. Here he owned and managed the restaurant up until 2004. At that stage Dale’s health had deteriorated to the degree he could no longer work, and had no choice but to sell and take a break for 18 months. After those long months he decided to take over Driftwood Café, which had been up and running for over 11 years. This has quickly become the place for families with children to enjoy a relaxing time together. Driftwood café has plenty for the children to do such as feeding ducks, jumping castles, jungle gyms and swings. It has a definite el fresco feel to it with a menu to match.

In between, Dale owned and operated 3 very successful Black Angus Steakhouses in Johannesburg and a successful Durban eatery as well.

Dale’s Black Angus Grill has now opened in the Paddocks shopping Centre in Milnerton under a new guise and a fresh look.

The menu is varied and includes all the standard favourites as well as some new additions such as the home of the 'special reserve 21' ,Duck a’ la Orange, lamb shank and BBQ pork loin ribs, to name but a few. The menu tries its best to cater for all tastes and nuances.
