Cattle Baron Little Falls is the second store to open in Gauteng and partners Martin and Johan proudly follow the franchise policy of total professionalism in everything they do. The newer Cattle Barons are more modern in concept than the traditional Cattle Barons in the Western Cape with Little Falls a fine example of the new look stores. Ceilings are high, and the spacious interior has an abundance of natural light thanks to the floor to ceiling windows. A large terrace offers plenty of tables for al fresco dining, and the glamorous bar boasts a whisky cabinet for the connoisseur show casing premium whiskies.

Despite the wide selection of fine fare on the menu, it is the top quality steaks for which Little Falls is fast gaining an enviable reputation in the area. The Cattle Barons use only super-A grain-fed beef that is matured under ideal temperature conditions for at least 18 days. Strict attention is paid to texture, fat content and the cutting and styling of each steak. The Cattle Baron group has won many awards over the years. This is testament to the great service, food and atmosphere that our valued customers have come to expect from the Cattle Baron restaurants.

The menu is impressively large with a huge selection of dishes offering salads, steaks, seafood, pastas and poultry. What’s more, unlike many other restaurants, at the Cattle Baron you don’t pay extra for your vegetables, so you get exceptional value for money! Remember too, that there is no corkage on your own wine. Starter recommendations are the Camembert (which is crumbed and deep-fried) and the Springbok Carpaccio with rocket and walnut pesto. Signature dishes on the mains menu are the Chateaubriand which remains one of the best sellers, and the de-boned Chicken with peri-peri, Moroccan lime or sweet basting sauce. There is also an excellent Kiddies menu which offers, (in addition to a selection of well priced wholesome meals), the Mix-o-treat ice cream dessert which is exclusive to the Cattle Baron group.

From the N1 Western By-Pass, take the 14th Avenue Interchange; head towards the Renault dealership/Road Lodge Hotel, then right, up the ramp onto Hendrick Potgieter Rd (M47) and head West. Continue on Hendrick Potgieter Rd (M47). Pass Hillfox on your right, Clearwater Mall on your left and Makro on your right. Turn right at the new Mr Price store, onto Nic Diederichs Blvd. Turn right into the West Rand Retail Crossing and then turn immediately left at the circle. The restaurant block will be directly in front of you.
